DocuSketch
A weighted total across the capabilities restoration operators said their category needs. Operators set which capabilities count and how much each weighs; Verinode Research maps DocuSketch against them on dated evidence from the public record. No vendor pays for placement, sponsorship, or scoring influence.
What the score is made of.
Each capability is scored 1 to 5. The weights are the operator-set importance for this category. These rows are the whole of the calculation, so the arithmetic below reproduces the number above.
Weighted mean of the rows above, carried from the 1 to 5 capability scale onto a 1 to 10 scale: 8.4. A capability not listed here was not assessed for DocuSketch, and it carries no weight in the total rather than counting as a zero.
How to read this.
The shape matters more than the total. DocuSketch reads strongest on Risk & Compliance and weakest on Operational Fit. Two tools with the same total can be opposites, and the one that fits is the one strong where your business is weak.
It reads documentation, not production. This assesses capability as evidenced in the public record and vendor documentation, not capability as experienced on a live job. Capability testing against a published rubric is on the roadmap and is not reflected here.
Provisional means not yet peer-rated. A reading stays provisional until its category is both operator-weighted and rated by the operators who run the tool. Quote the flag and the date along with the number.
What is not here.
Two things are missing from this reading, deliberately. Whether DocuSketch is priced fairly against what comparable operators actually pay, and how the operators running it rate it. Both are built from what operators contribute about their own businesses, so they are not Verinode’s to give away.
The total above is computed from the published capabilities alone rather than derived from the member reading, so nothing about the withheld figures can be worked back out of it. Both are part of membership, where the question stops being whether DocuSketch is good and becomes whether it is worth it for your business.
